I have fond feelings for the community of artists and writers – and everyone else I met – in Corsicana, TX when I visited in Fall 2019 as a resident at 100West Corsicana. An instant bond of fellowship and purpose drew me back in February 2020 – right before the Covid-19 pandemic put our relationship on pause.
Artist Nancy Rebal invited me to activate the windows at 207 N Beaton Street, Corsicana, TX, which were already painted in my signature pink and blue hues! General Store is my response to the history of this place. Small town. BIG LOVE. I’ll be back.
