The installation “Between the Page and the Wall” is on view at the Frost Art Museum through Sept 25, 2016.
Curated by Adrienne Rose Gionta for the exhibition “Suddenly, Last Summer”, as part of the Museum’s Summer of Women, Between the Page and the Wall recreates a summer residency/retreat habitat of an artist. The small drawings and notes that originate in the intimate space of the artist’s sketchbooks evolve into completed works of collage, painting and animation. All of the works on view express the explosive power of freedom in the life of an artist.
