My Self > My Place in Space is the name of an education project led by Michelle Weinberg awarded a 2017 Creative Learning Grant by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Taking place at the Seward Park Branch of the New York Public Library, in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Weinberg will lead a group of teens in workshops using hybrid hi- and lo-tech methods for imaging, portraiture, 3D drafting and animation, scanner photography and more. A culminating exhibition inviting the community to see works and demonstrations by the group is planned.
