Michelle Weinberg exhibits works inspired by the accumulation and simultaneous deterioration of everyday images and objects. Via 2D and 3D methods and materials, using both the handmade and the digital, Weinberg’s works in The Infinite Particular comprise visual and spatial artifacts. The effect of time and the visual impression of time is at work in digital prints that delay or extend the life of otherwise static images. A tabletop theater, made of papier maché, contains infinite architectural and scenic possibilities. Episodes captured from this small stage become “Cameo, a video created with a little help from her friends.
